We have two great speakers lined up for the evening: Ryan E. Benson, Lead technical subject matter expert for Section 508 at the Centers for Disease Control and Liani Yirka, Accessibility & Inclusion Coordinator from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences will be talking about their experiences as accessibility experts.
You'll learn about accessibility, how to design more inclusively, and develop empathy through disability simulations and assistive technologies.
But wait, there's more!
Come early to enjoy pizza and network with others interested in accessibility and design! Talk shop, discuss your current accessibility processes at work, or just relax and catch up with others in the accessibility and design community.
The event is free to a11yRTP members and Triangle UXPA members. For non-members, it's $5. (Consider becoming a member of a11yRTP or Triangle UXPA today!) a11yRTP members can register at the TriUXPA website (http://triuxpa.org/event-2540999) for free using code GAAD17.
