WCAG 2.0 - Understandable (Proposed)

  • to
  • Needs a location

  • This is a proposed meetup. The date is not real, just used for sorting in the list of future meetups. RSVP to show your interest; you can change your RSVP at a later date.

    This will be the third of four in a series of meetup events that take a deeper look at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0.

    WCAG offers four principles in support of accessibility;
    • Perceivable
    • Operable
    • Understandable
    • Robust

    In this session, we'll look at Understandable, ensuring that information and the operation of user interface is as understandable and intuitive as possible. We'll look at:
    • Readibility
    • Predictability
    • Input Assistance

    This session is geared primarily towards developers, designers and user experience professionals. This session also provides value to site owners, project managers and quality assurance analysts. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of what this WCAG principle means and how to reference the success criteria to their projects.
