Well only about 5 people showed up from A2 Adventure Club.. seems a lot of you were scared by the rain that ended by 5 or so. About 20 people showed in total .. it was a nice relaxing atmosphere.. everyone was very friendly . I am glad that those that came had a good time. NEXT SMLC CAMPFIRE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2013 SAME PLACE.. I will post a new meetup.

BTW Lefurge is a great place to hike ... even the meadow that the campfire is in has some nice trails around .. It will be the southern nexis of the upcoming Superior Greenway Nature Trail. which will go north for several miles... BTW2 I have invited several other meetup groups also..

BTW3 This event is kid friendly so I believe several individuals may be there will children ... kids love the campfire, roasting marshmallows and getting outdoors. BTW4 This even happens EVERY MONTH during the warmer months.. the last one this year will be November 12..

To Everyone.. I was just invited (by a client) to the Michigan v Indiana Football game that day and its a 3:30 kick so I will most likely be late. I estimate I may arrive between 8 and 9 pm. THIS SHOULD NOT STOP ANY OF YOU FROM SHOWING UP anytime during the event its basically a big open house! SMLC's volunteer coordinating the event will be SCOTT TYRELL.. just say HI.. and mention that Jim Weiner, SMLC's President, invited you all... Again its bring your own refreshments.. campfire goodies (and if you want byob), etc. SMLC has some utensils for cooking over open fires but if you have some bring them.. Jim W
