Looking forwards to see you all tonight at climbing! I'll be hanging around the cafe tables until about 7:30pm. Otherwise, look for me in the gym. I might be bouldering upstairs or in the cave. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me or anyone that's around. Post here if this will be your first time at Planet Rock and will need to take that intro lesson.

yes, it will be my very first climbing experience! any recommendations on specific clothing or other advice?

    March 24, 2014

    • Ariel

Flexible, breathable clothing. I like wearing shorts, I've seen people wearing yoga or running pants. You might bang up your knees a little bit, since it's your first time. I recommend you come no later than 7pm so you can get in a lesson and still have time afterwards to climb.

longer shorts, pants or leggings seem to work best. I wouldn't recommend long sleeves as Planet Rock tends to be on the warmer side especially near the anchors.

Sorry, but i am going to be stuck at the office late tonight.

Hi all, i dont have a car so if i could get a lift from any of you... I could also go by bike, but not sure how convenient the route is especially on the way back when it's dark.... I'm living off jackson ave, just 10 minutes by car to Planet Rock.

If anyone knows they want to try this more than once, I bought a Groupon that I won't be able to use. It's for a month unlimited climbing and I'm selling it for $39 (you still need to pay for gear rental). Send me a message if you're interested!

    March 18, 2014

    • Cristina S.

When does it expire? I would love to buy that from you.

      March 18, 2014

    • Amanda

It has to be activated by March 31st and should be good for a month after the activation date.
