• Summit Dunkery Hill & Beacon (519m), one of the highest points in the Exmoor National Park
• Hike parts of the stunning South West Coast Path from Minehead to Hurlstone Point with views of Bossington Beach
• Visit Dunster Castle and enjoy a leisurely Sunday Social hike around the Castle's Park and up to Bat's Castle (remains of)

HIKE GRADES
You will have a choice of hikes, ranging from Moderate to Energetic Hikes, all led by trained mountain leaders. AAA hike leaders have extensive navigational and hike-leading experience and are trained in wilderness first aid.

You can expect the shorter hikes to be around 15km and the longer hikes to be 25 km. We will take the weather into account and offer routes on the day.

IMPORTANT This trip is designed for a range of hiking abilities from novice to experienced. AAA provide choices of hikes so you can select your hikes accordingly.

ITINERARY
The event starts at the accommodation at 18:00 and finishes after the half-day hike on Sunday around 2 pm.

ACCOMMODATION
Exclusive use of YHA Minehead.

This is a country retreat in an attractive house high in Somerset’s Exmoor hills. The hostel boasts magnificent grounds, whilst still being situated close to some of Somerset’s most beautiful coastline. You can sit back and enjoy the log burner with your cream tea while gazing out at the view.

Male and female rooms for 4, one for 6 people.

FOOD
Meals are provided as per the inclusions below. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if advised in advance.

TRANSPORT
Driving is the best option to reach the hostel. To share a lift & offer one please check out this Event Message Board

The price includes:
