You may have heard of build scripting frameworks such as Make and Rake, PowerShell has its own in psake (pronounced like the Japanese rice wine). Psake allows you to define tasks to execute in your build process. These tasks help you automate your complicated build/deployment process. You can then keep these tasks in source control which can help create consistency across machines. We will dive into the basics and demo a real world example.
