"Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God"--from the eternal page in A Course in Miracles

Only after studying ACIM weekly for at least two years did I begin to understand this statement...and was willing to see it as the first Truth of attaining peace. As such, this inner peace cannot be threatened by the collective or individual egos of the world as long as I keep my ego from joining the dialogue. Once the separation of ego and spirit is comprehended, once the world of the ego is realized as only an illusion, then the spiritual truth of only knowing that the real truth is that instant between "seeing" and "ego intellectualizing" (-- LOL as I am now doing in this labeling of that which cannot be labeled!)

What is your favorite quotation or passage from A Course in Miracles?

"I am never angry for the reason I think."

Seeker, Writer, Storyteller, Teacher, Poet. I studied ACIM regularly 1990 - 1995. I have used the teachings in my daily life. I now visit my 22 year old daughter in Atlanta often and would like to attend ACIM meetings when possible.
