A Course In Miracles & Networking, 12:30 pm 3rd Sundays FREE Monthly Meetup

FREE networking opportunity to meet with teachers/students of A Course In Miracles (acim), self-improvement, personal growth and spiritual studies as well as others in the community. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!

Even though some are teachers/students of acim, some are also successful social entrepreneurs, investors, coaches, alternative healers and people in diverse occupations. Find out how they are living the principles of acim. Enjoy sharing your insights and meeting people with similar spiritual, professional and business interests!

Our A Course In Miracles support program is NOT like other acim study groups. We like our format better because it saves time and unnecessary extra commuting.

We meet once a month face-to-face so we know who we are emailing and supporting online daily. We meet for networking in person in Downtown, Wash D.C. on the third Sundays at noon 12:30PM to 2:30PM at the Burma Restaurant 740 6th St. NW, 2nd floor, Wash. DC. (This is one block from Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop, red line)  You'll be happy to discover this diverse, friendly and inspirational group! Some discovered ACIM at this networking event and they tell us it has changed their lives.

Our Acim study groups have been meeting online at Chatzy.com (see discussion tab in this group for the link)  If you are interested, please email [masked] Check the Message Board here. If you are interested to help or participate or meet in person people you can interact with online related to ACIM studies, feel free to attend this 3rd Sunday networking event and meet some of the members of the Organizer Committee of the event who are ACIM teachers/students.

The 3rd Sunday 12:30PM to 2:30PM community networking event is organized by members of the Friendship Archway Network which is comprised of many Meetup groups including A Course In Miracles group. We will be meeting at the same time and place with similar Meetup topics so you have a chance also to network with others active in the community and sharing your understanding of acim. Most of the participants are people interested in spiritual, personal, economic and community development. Please expect the unexpected! There are no accidents. The ego-self will get what it wants or something better than it can imagine. Do not come with any ego expectations or you may be setting yourself up for ego disappointment. We are not here to meet your ego expectations. This is NOT a traditional study group. (We emphasize this so you will not have any illusions of what to expect and will come with an open mind for fun, creativity and spontaneity.

This is a community networking event (not a study group) so you can meet a few ACIM students/teachers and others who may be good for you to meet. Please remember to practice ACIM principles by being open-minded, appreciative and allow yourself to experience everything as a blessing. It is an opportunity to practice your lessons of "holy instant", miracle way of perception and forgiveness. We look forward to meet you on land and online!

This meetup was fantastic. I made a lot of great connections, got leads for five potential clients, and had a delicious meal. I highly recommend this meetup to anyone who is looking to network, make friends, and find clients.

This is Michael, the bow tie guy. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to practice public speaking and networking. Every month i fine tune my approach. I know that i have an entire month to practice and grow better than before. It is truely a blessing to see new guests that attend and network with them.

Can't be here this Sunday. Hope some of you will join REAL meet up group immediately after this group in January. Designed to teach educators to assess for dyslexia and uncover strategies needed to help each student learn to read---not just a cookie cutter approach. The materials I am currently developing are for people with reading difficulties but normal IQ who are 9 years of age or above (including English as a second language learners). Materials designed to accelerate the person into full literacy in a year. All materials will be provided free as attachments for participants to copy. Plot line centered around 2 Susquatch brothers traveling across the United States from California to Washington, D.C. and then through time visiting historical events, learning the Star Spangled Banner, the Pledge, measuring for cooking, parts of speech, telling time, seasons of the year, months of the year, and how to sign their signatures. Debby Nixon developed programs and products for Texas.
