Day 1: Friday Afternoon, September 13
13:30 Time to get the Hell Out Of Shanghai 😝 M2 Team Leaders are waiting for you at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.
14:25 Take the afternoon train from Shanghai > Fujian. The ride is always fun as we usually drink beer and play some games;
20:30 Train arrives at the station. We will take our private coach and drive (~1.5 hours) to the Tulou guesthouse
22:30 Time to have a first look at the Tulou and get our room. If you're not tired, let's meet in the yard for a beer and chit chat 🍺
Day 2: Saturday, September 14
08:00 Good Morning ☀️ Time for some local breakfast made by the Tulou host in the nice Yard of the Tulou 🥟
09:00 We will then walk around (about 3 hours) in this village which has dozens of nice Tulous.
12:30 Time to go back to our guesthouse for lunch and a quick break.
13:30 Will take our private bus to drive 40 mins to see the Chuxi Tulou Village.
14:20 Upon arriving, we will first hike to the top of a nearby hill, where we have a chance to see the magnificent view of Tulou from the top and take lots of beautiful photos.
15:00 Walk around in the village and visit the Tulou Museum (the biggest circular Tulou in the village)
16:45 We then regroup and take the bus going back to our Tulou guesthouse
18:00 Group dinner cooked by the local chef. Before the dinner, the owner will teach us how to cook a traditional Fujian local snack Yuzibao (similar to Baozi but made by sweet potato, yummy 😋).
19:30 We will then chill and relax in the yard, play some games and watch a Tulou Themed Chinese Cartoon Movie (in English). After the movie, we can walk around to see the beautiful night view of Tulou 🌃
Day 3: Sunday, September 15
07:30 Time to wake up and have breakfast
08:15 We will take a private bus (10mins) to go visit another amazing sightseeing site, the King of Tulou - Chengqilou (承啟楼). Gonna be amaaaaazing 😍
12:00 We will then go back to our guesthouse for lunch and pack our belongings.
13:00 Time to drive to the train station and go back to Shanghai.
22:00 ETA Hongqiao Railway Station, back to home sweet home, head filled of great memories 😝
