Lake Conestee Shorty but Goody (Slightly moderate 2 mile hike)

Details
**Please read all event details before RSVPing**
It's time to get this started back up! Conestee has had a lot of work done, and it deserves our presence. This will vary from previous Conestee walks/hikes, as this will be a short but slightly more difficult 2 mile hike at a brisk pace. There will still be time to gab, stop to gape at wildlife, and take photos. We will do Racoon Run, starting at Loop Entrance E1, ending at Loop Entrance E4. This dirt trail has a few short hills, some boardwalks, a few little rocks to climb (if you want), and lots of roots for footwork. Read more about Conestee here:

Keeping the group size limited to honor Contestee's group rules - therefore, please honor your R.S.V.P or cancel in a timely manner if you can't attend. Please note that if you are on the waitlist, check back for cancellations because you will automatically be moved from the waitlist to attending if someone cancels. There is no entrance fee but the park asks for a $3 donation per person (via honor box) - up to you to contribute if you like. (I usually make online contributions, but I will point out the donation box if you'd like to contribute - your money will be put to good use here!) There is plentiful free parking at the park. We'll meet in front of the large pavilion. In the event of possible inclement weather, please check back on this event posting day of in the comments for status. If you are running late, I may not see a message from you in a timely manner. We will wait 10 minutes for late-comers, then we'll depart. Feel free to message me with any questions, or post them in the event comments.
