What we're about
North Texas Adventure Ladies is a group for women interested in all types of adventures such as kayaking, zip lining, camping, horseback riding, hiking/walking, art/crafts, spending time at the lake and anything else we come up with. I started this group to meet other women that like to spend time exploring new adventures.
Just a couple of rules please:
- This group and adventures are for ladies only- please don't ask to bring children or men. This is so that we can all relax and get to know each other.
- Please do not complain about pricing of adventures. I may occasionally add a small upcharge to an event or ask for donations for free events. This helps cover the costs of running the group.
- I am always open to suggestions on how to organize and run the group but please do not complain at an event. The first time, I will remind you of this rule and the second I may ask you to leave the group.
- Please plan to arrive for adventures at least 10 minutes in advance. All adventures will start on time. Some adventures cannot be started once the group has begun.
- Please bring cash to tip our guides. If you are not happy with the way the adventure was conducted, you are not obligated to tip but it is good to be prepared.

Being in nature is good for your health and well-being.
Sharing nature-based experiences with other people can lead to a deeper connection with the earth and significant gains in mental/physical health.
Nature School will meet once a month for 6 months. Can't make one of the dates? No worries, all the topics will repeat so catch-up next time.
All of the info will also be included in your Nature Journal and videos so you can complete any missed activities on your own as well.
Each meeting will have a topic for discussion, a time for connecting to the earth with breathing exercises, activity to practice the topic of the week and time for working in our nature journals.
Monthly Nature School Topics
- March 11th- Connecting with nature using all of your senses. Creating nature journals.
- April 8th -Hiking 101 and Intro to Geaocaching. How to use AllTrails app and trail etiquette
- May 6th- Creating in nature- exploring nature based crafting
- June 3rd- Safety and awareness while exploring in nature
- July 1st- Leave No Trace principles for protecting the environment while enjoying nature
- July 28th Stargazing and the night sky (this meeting will be in the evening) Maybe campout?
All supplies and equipment provided but please bring water and dress for the weather. We will meet rain or shine unless severe weather is predicted.
Locations for each meeting will be emailed a week before according to the weather, trail conditions etc. Each will be in the areas around Plano, Lewisville, McKinney, Princeton, Little Elm.

Private paddle board lesson with instructor and then take a short tour on the board of the lagoon.
Beginner friendly!!!
Only $65 includes lesson, fees and tip for instructor!
This is a great deal- normally would cost $93!!!
All equipment including SUP Board, carbon fiber adjustable paddle, life jacket / PFD waist belt and leash will be provided.
Let's hang out on the beach for a while after the lesson.
