East Rim Waterworks Canyon

Lets escape the rain on the West side of the cascades and hike in the canyon lands just West of Yakima. Here are some links with more details and photos:

The trip described on the picasa web album was 7 miles and 3800 ft gain - so come prepared to do this (think Mt Si, but much more interesting). We can vote as a group whether to come back down without a trail on the West side of the canyon or not.

Bring 2 quarts water - it should be hot (75) and at least 5 of the 10 essentials:)

I might be a few minutes late getting to Eastgate. My bus is scheduled to arrive at 07:59.
