Novice hike to a ice cream shop back to a playground for 2 to 5 years old

We are starting at the North Wake Landfill park

Take Abbotts Creek Trail to the falls river connector half a mile

Turn left over the bridge and walk half of a mile on falls river connector to Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Then we go back to the end of falls river connector walk 1/4 mile to the end of abbott creek trail.

Then turn around go 3/4 miles to gate 4 back to tot lot playground

Those who want to walk an additional 3 miles , 1.5 miles to the end of Abbott Creek trail .

Those who have been on my hikes know you can make last minute decisions  and show up with out rsvping but you have to be  about 5 minutes early.

All paved trails

Baby strollers easily push

Then a play ground designed for 2 years old to 5 years old to play on at the end.

Bathrooms at the start & at the 2.5 mile mark

There are 2 miles of mountain bike trails and a mountain bike skills in the park  area

There is a kids playground for 5 to 12 years old

Going to a Ice Cream shop sounds better than staring at North Wake Land Fill Park

For directions call blue jay point[masked]

This park is just off of Durant Road
