Steel Stampede Motorcycle Riding Group Pages

Our primary focus is riding in a safe and enjoyable manner. Occasionally the club will decline guest requests to participate in order to ensure safety. Ride attendance must be limited and riders must exhibit a proficient skill level in order to be allowed to return.

How to attend a ride:

1.You are required to read "Group Riding 101" prior to the ride. Understand and accept that your safety is solely in your own hands. The RC will lead the way and communicate to the riders via hand signals, but he/she cannot be expected to ensure that you will see every signal or successfully negotiate every curve and u-turn. That is your responsibility. Ride like your life depends on it.

As guests, there are some ways you can assist us in making everyone's experiences during club events enjoyable.

The 5 "Rs" for guests:

1. REPLY to the questions in the meet-up profile - all of them.
2. RSVP if you plan to attend or think you MIGHT. Both dinners and rides take some planning and behind every event is a patch-wearing member making plans that hinge on the number of attendees.
3. RESPECT your Ride Captain. Listen carefully to any pre-ride instructions, including where new guests should place themselves in the group. Your captain usually has current information about road conditions and stops.
4. REALIZE that the patch-wearing members know one another and have ridden together long enough to have become familiar with one another's bikes, preferences and ride styles. If any impromptu allowances or adjustments are needed, it is likely to accommodate you, the guest.
5. RIDE like your life depends on it!
