About
Two and a half hour outdoor rock climbing session, with a 100ft abseil at the end.

This session will be at Split Rock Quarry (nr Wells) - mixed ability routes suitable for absolute beginners and the more accomplished climbers amongst us.

All equipment, instruction and kit hire included. (also tea, coffee, and biscuits!).

Please note: This is an all weather activity. Even if it's pissing it down, we'll still go! No refunds unless the organisers cancel the event themselves.

Cost
The cost for this event is £30 pp.

Spaces
Limited to 6 places to start with. If event is full and you want to come, join the "waiting list" and I will see if we can extend to more places. Update: I have extended the booking to 9 places.

Directions
Please make your way to Milton Lane from Ash Lane off the A39 in Wells. The postcode for Milton Lane is BA5 2QT. This is the furthest point on Milton Lane that has a postcode. Please follow the instructions and map to get from BA52QT to the parking area and walk to the climbing venue.

Once on Milton Lane (marked No Through Road). Please park on this road and continue on foot, up the hill bearing left at the junction with Reservoir Lane. At the top of the lane where the road levels out flat there are grass verges on either side. (** Note. Please do not park here, as the local landowner gets annoyed, and this puts future climbing events at risk! Instead park on Milton Lane **).

At the turning area in the road there is a locked gate with boulders around it. As you face the gate, take the path on your right leading in to a field.

At the gate to the field, there is a kissing gate and an orange sign saying 'sheep dogs on leads please'. Continue through the field staying to the left hand edge next to the woods.

When level with the white and blue farm house on your right, there is a two part gate on your left (this is the first gate you will come to). Continue through the pedestrian part of the gate.

You will be able to see the cliffs! Follow the path and we will be waiting for you :)

Link to map: (use only for visual directions as google will not allow you to walk through a field and will send you on a crazy circular route!)
