Columbia University's 6th African Diplomatic Forum

Our 6th Annual African Diplomatic Forum (ADF), to be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 is themed is Statecraft: Leveraging Africa’s Ascendance for Political Influence and Economic Development. The conference will center on strategies to magnify the impact and benefits of the continent’s rising international profile through improved national policy, strategic regional and international engagements, and key infrastructural investments.

We will also be joined by a special guest speaker, Fred Swaniker, Founder and CEO of the African Leadership Academy as well as the Malian Ambassador to the UN, Mr. Oumar Daou. Panels topics cover politics, negotiation, regional security and innovation and guests include:
