Strategic Product Ownership by Dennis Stevens

This month, Dennis Stevens from Synaptus will conduct a hands-on workshop designed to teach the principles of capability analysis... an approach designed to help organizations determine how to prioritize their most critical business needs.  If you liked Dennis' talk in January, and want to learn more, this is the talk for you.

The meeting will run as follows:  Dennis will introduce a topic by doing a brief overview of the main points.  We'll have the audience broken into small groups to participate in a hands-on exercise, and follow each with a debrief of the groups experience.  We'll probably have time to conduct two simulations.

Some great ideas and we got to experience them not just hear about it.

It was an excellent session; well worth the time to attend. Dennis led an exercise designed to teach agile practitioners about a planning tool that explicitly establishes business value and priority. I walked out of the meeting last night with the tool and enough understanding about how to apply it that I am using for some business planning today.

The presentation content was realistic and the suggested practices were adaptable. I feel like there were key take aways that will help me as I grow in the Agile experience.
