Project Manager

The ideal Project Manager will have a passion for full, project life cycle management (planning, developing/testing, implementing, controlling and reporting) of both internal and external projects based on clearly defined areas such as scope, schedule, cost, and quality. The Project Manager will be responsible for key areas of project management, including: identifying tasks, dependencies and the critical path for project delivery; developing and managing project and work force plans for on-time project delivery; employing project governance to pro-actively manage risks, issues and decisions; managing all aspects of project budget allocation and tracking; providing weekly health & status reports; and, managing communication of project risk, issues, decisions, activities and milestones across all project stakeholders.

• Establish clear project execution guidelines; develop detailed project scope and schedule, project estimates and forecasts, resource plans, and status reports.
• Track and communicate key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers. Maintain the required routine status tracking and problem management for the project.
• Ensure the project’s highest priorities and risks are appropriately assessed and receive the appropriate attention; act as a catalyst/facilitator in the resolution of project problems and conflicts, escalating when necessary.
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
• Manage projects to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost, and quality.
• Assist in translating business and technical requirements into project scope, objectives and tasks.
• Communicate major milestones and identify potential project risks; conduct regular status meetings to review project activities; and manage prioritization procedures.
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Validate that proper deliverable and phase stage containment is occurring where required, e.g., signoffs are scheduled and completed, dependent deliverables are completed, phase plans are completed and agreed to by project leads before the phase starts.
• Manage all Change Requests, validate all budget/schedule impacts, obtain the stakeholders' commitment, and communicate approved changes to all teams
• Use Scrum framework for Agile development process. Function as development team Scrum Master and hold Sprint Planning and Review meetings.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management with technical knowledge acquired through working in a software related industry (software development, networking, operations, etc.).
• Extensive interpersonal communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and facilitation skills with technical and multi-disciplinary audiences across all levels of company operations including IT, Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and executive organizations.
• Solid experience with systems development life cycle methodologies and frameworks (eg Agile/Scrum).
• Ability to build relationships and consensus with and influence other functional areas and resources at various levels of the organization.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and with minimal day-to-day guidance.
• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Knowledge of inter-application relationships (i.e., how applications interface)
• BS/BA degree
• PMP preferable
