Michiel is based in South Africa and has 14+ years of data analytics experience across fraud prevention, credit risk & operations to digital & marketing, informing business of current realities and guiding strategy by collaborative data storytelling. As a lifelong learner, he is starting his Masters in Big Data Science in 2021, has a passion for developing people with ongoing coaching studies & enjoys increasingly sharing his learnings via mentoring, public speaking & writings. Michiel finds balance with his yoga teacher life partner, in trying his best to meditate daily, getting out for walks & not having too much tea.

Dr Stylianos (Stelios) Kampakis is on a mission to educate the public about the power of data science, AI and blockchain. He has helped many people follow a career in data science and has worked with decision makers from companies of all sizes: from startups to organisations like Vodafone and British Land. He is a member of the Royal Statistical Society, honorary research fellow at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies, a data science advisor for London Business School, CEO of The Tesseract Academy (which helps decision makers use data science) and CDO at Datalyst Academy (which is the best way to pursue a career in data science). A natural polymath, with a PhD in Machine Learning and degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Psychology, and Economics he loves using his broad skillset to solve difficult problems and help companies improve their efficiency.
