2014 RTP Area - Agile Announcements
Happy New Year !

Hey everyone, mark your calendars and pass the word for these following local events that are upcoming in 2014. We thought you’d appreciate a “heads-up” regarding these wonderful opportunities to learn, network, and simply get more agile…

7th Annual TISQA Conference

This local testing event is happening again this spring. The 2-day event, 1 day of conference and 1 day of workshops will be held in Chapel Hill at The Friday Center on March 12-13, 2014. Join local and national/international testing experts in sharing on software testing in agile and traditional environments across a spectrum of tracks and topics.

A First - Local 1-day Agile Conference

Mark you calendar for May 2, 2014 as TriAgile is in the early planning stages. This is a 1-day conference that will bring in local and national agile speakers in an event similar to Southern Fried Agile.

If you want to propose a talk, now is the time to do so. It would be a great way to share your agile experiences more broadly. More info here: http://www.triagile.com/

Scrum Alliance, 2014 North American Scrum/Agile Coaches Retreat

This is a multi-day event that will be held locally in Chapel Hill on October 27-30, 2014 at The Friday Center. The first two days will be focused on 2 TBD coaching skills workshops. The latter 2+ days will be a retreat format where you’ll get the chance to collaborate in small teams with a wide variety of experienced agile and Scrum coaches.

We’re looking for a small group of local volunteers to help with the retreat logistics. If you’re interested in volunteering OR registering your interest, please email Bob Galen until the retreat website & registration is up. [address removed]

Southern Fried Agile – Charlotte

This reoccurring 1-day agile conference is scheduled for October 31, 2014 in downtown Charlotte. The program is still TBD, but more info here – http://southernfriedagile.com/

We hope you found these announcements helpful. Please pass the word to your friends and colleagues who might find them of interest. The local Raleigh/Durham area is a “hot bed” of agile practice. All of our efforts continue to make our community grow & mature as we learn together.

Stay agile my friends,
Bob Galen
