Amazing corporation with tremendous growth and management is seeking an Agile Scrum professional with amazing people skills to manage several very small projects internally using Business Analyst skills to be a liaison between the technology division and the accounting/finance groups! This position will be responsible for base lining existing processes and identifying key pain points which enhance the workflow, create efficiency increases, resulting in cost saving, and in general drive a broader awareness for improvement.  The individual will be responsible for working with the business to optimize and implement IT Systems.
 

The Position will interact with small teams of contractors or full time development staff on projects and contribute towards project deliverables and business requirements. This position will facilitate Agile teams in the following practices – writing user stories, release and iteration planning, test driven development, continuous integration, Scrum stand-up meetings, velocity and capacity planning, and retrospectives. 
 

This Position will be facilitating and leading Agile teams and removing any impediments in order to keep teams highly productive.  Identifies and manages dependencies with other internal or external teams.  Provides metrics and status to senior management. Position involves significant interaction with a diverse user base of back office and front office professionals.
 

IDEAL PERSON WOULD HAVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE OR STRONG BUSINESS ANALYST NOW

NO RELOCATION - MUST BE LOCAL TO THE DC METRO AREA (company is near metro and hiring company will pay for metro and/or parking)
 

Requirements:

  • MUST CURRENTLY BE WORKING IN A NON GOVERNMENT ENVIRONMENT
  • Bachelors Degree and Scrum (certification a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience using Agile methods
  • 5+ years’ experience preferred in both software development, development management and/or project management experience
  • Experience as Scrum Master with responsibility for daily stand-up meetings, team collaboration, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives
  • Experience related to functional/business process configuration tasks
  • Ability to identify approaches, risks, mitigation strategies to meet client/functional requirements
