Recent tech layoffs have impacted over 500,000 workers, impacting major urban cores and disrupting careers. Though AI remains hot, overall venture funding remains low while the unemployed compete for fewer roles. No longer is this the industry of loyalty, cushy roles, or high salaries.
Join Albert's List and the Workforce Development DAO (a Geo Browser project) for a career transition conference where we explore how to transition or advance your career in an AI-driven world. This event will feature a distinguished panel that will share hot careers, strategies to transition, and how to use AI for your job search and resume development.
For profit companies and organizations can purchase a table to share their resources or pursue talent. Mission aligned non-profits can table for free.
Join us to network, learn, and start your transition into a new or more fulfilling career in 2025. We'll also be serving complementary hors d’oeuvres

and drinks
Here are our sessions so far. More will be added in the coming days:
PRESENTATION: The Career Advancement Mindset, 5-5:30 PM
Could your attitude be impacting your job search? Does imposter syndrome hold you back? Iva Grabic MD, an integrative psychiatrist, will reveal the psychological barriers to finding your perfect job and give you techniques to overcome them.
PANEL: How to Transition Careers, 5:30-7 PM
A distinguished panel of career coaches will discuss how to transition careers, including writing a resume, addressing transferrable skills, navigating the interview, and more. Come with your questions, we’ll leave plenty of time for Q&A.
PRESENTATION: How to Make Your Job Search a Marketing Campaign, 7-7:30 PM
Despite job boards being a common job search tool, networking and referrals remain the most effective way to land a job. Many jobs are filled before they are ever posted online, making personal connections and direct outreach crucial. Tech entrepreneur and professional marketer, Eric Forst, will give you practical tips and tools to help you think and act like a marketer to help you find and land the perfect job. Attendees will receive spreadsheets, email templates, and planning tools to help you transform your job search into a marketing campaign.
