Captivating. The wavy lines, the people, the repetition, the grid, the neon sign... everything.

I really like this photo. It is surreal, impressionistic. I tend, however, to be repelled by such things as well recognized brand names, that is, until they become quaint artifacts. So I find the subway sign jarring.

Strenght- the idea of this shot is phenomenal. I also prefer it in color- so nice choice there. Distracting- I agree that the neons are more context than we need. Also the little bits of "trash" around the left corner of the frame. I might like the neons more without this outer frame, in fact. Also a little pop of contrast could be good.

Also- guessing this was for interaction?

Interaction - Bill - wasn't trying to be Andy Warhol with "Subway" maybe just hungry Carly I will try to 'crop' and see if it change the image Tommi - it looks better now then it did in my viewfinder Thanks all for the comments and suggestions!

Terry, I understand, we've got to work with the world as we find it. The problem I have with such well established brand names is that they do their job too well. I see the golden arches, and even without the name, I know I can buy a burger there. Such strong association, which is the purpose of branding, tends to rob the mystery from a photo, for me anyway. Which is not to say that I would have avoiding taking this shot, and as I said, I really like the photo.

I agree the inclusion should have purpose. I. Cropped the edges, straightened the grid and left the logos out and it is a much better picture.

Would you upload the revised image to the album? I'd like to see it.
