Have you been to Chinatown to eat before? What are your thoughts of Chinatown? If you've been, which restaurants have you been to and what are your favorite dishes?

Love visiting Chinatown - have been to several dimsum places and also E Mei for dinner.

Is there a particular restaurant that you've been wanting to try in Chinatown but never have? Generally, what are your favorite foods?

Enjoy almost everything I have tried in Chinatown - but am not partial to eels. Would love to try a place that specializes in Taiwanese food.

As we are looking for the adventurous and those willing to try anything once tell us what is the strangest thing you've ever ate.

Well, I was offered a very large fish eye in Taiwan but hid it in my napkin - I am sorry. Other than that, probably whole eels.

Would you consider yourself a lover of Asian food? If so, what country's cuisine do you love the most and why?

I love Southeastern Asian food as well as Chinese food. My favorite cuisine is probably Taiwanese Chinese.

What's the main reason you wish to join this group and what would you like to gain from this group that will make your time worth while?

An opportunity to continue to use some Mandarin to stay in practice, eat delicious food, and meet others who enjoy the same things.

Introduction

Love Chinese food, greatly enjoy Chinatown, and lived in Taiwan for an academic year. Have long been in a search of a place that serves 'A Cai' here in the states! Can speak some Mandarin and would enjoy learning the names of new dishes!
