  • This location is shown only to members

Please support our chapter and our international organization and come to this event! If you can...please make this a priority for Friday the 7th! The Mayor will be in attendance for the first 30 minutes only, so please arrive at 6:15 or as close to 6:30 as possible so we have strong attendance right out of the gate. City Council, Northern Virginia state legislators, Members of Congress and the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce have also been invited. Attire is Business Dress.

(Awesome Food provided, cash bar)

The Alexandria Chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) would like to cordially invite you to a reception on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 6:30 -8:30 pm at Bittersweet Café located at 823 King Street in Old Town Alexandria. The reception is being held in honor of our esteemed guest, Junior Chamber International (JCI) President Bertolt Daems of the Netherlands.

As he travels the JCI global community during his term, it is an extreme honor to have President Daems visit the United States, especially to the Commonwealth and particularly to the Alexandria Chapter. The Jaycees is a local grassroots movement with an international scope. We hope that you will be able to attend and show your support for our local organization making a global impact.

The Alexandria Jaycees is one chapter of the Virginia Jaycees who make up the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce. The United States is one of many countries that cast a ballot last year to elect President Daems. The JCI is membership-based nonprofit organization of 200,000 young people ages 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and more than 100 countries around the world.

We look forward to seeing you Friday, December 7th at 6:30pm at Bittersweet Café.
