Seattle Renewables is thrilled to have Rep. Jeff Morris back this month. Join us, a group of renewable energy advocates, for a relaxed and interactive information forum with Rep. Morris. He will share his thoughts and candid views on the upcoming Legislative session in Olympia, clean energy jobs in the Pacific Northwest Economic Region, and his involvement with Washington Energy Center.

Jeff represents the 40th District that includes San Juan County and parts of Skagit and Whatcom counties. He is a 4th generation native of the Puget Sound, a Congressional Staff Member, and Director of the Washington Technology Center (WTC), a state-chartered economic development organization. WTC is committed to increasing innovation and technology throughout the state of Washington, in all industries and economic sectors. WTC's mission is to assist companies in the creation of innovative products and technologies that provide job opportunities for the citizens of Washington state. http://www.watechcent... Quote from 01/09 - Jeff's last visit:
“ Jeff really knows his stuff. I have always thought that both the Federal and State governments need an "Energy Czar" and Jeff Morris belongs on the short list for that position. He has depth and breadth of understanding in most all aspects of the energy and carbon economies, and he makes it accessible to his constituents as well as the more technical-minded. The best-attended meeting was also one of the most informative. Great job, Seattle Renewables! ”
