Members of this meetup are being offered the same special registration rate as members of the Maryland - DC - Virginia Chapter of the Solar Energy Industry Association, "MDV-SEIA" at the knowledge-packed SEFC 2009 - December 3-5.

2. Partial Attendance
Although I highly recommend your group members look at the conference program to see if there are any speakers or panels they'd like to attend first, they can also choose to just attend the exhibit hall, on Thursday December 3, 2009 from 6 - 9 pm for the public reception. They can meet with the 25+ exhibitors free of charge.

3. Students
Any members of this meetup who are in high school, college or solar certification courses can receive the special student rate, $85/person. They'll need to contact Julia Sullivan of SEFC 2009

Getting there on public transit:
-- Gaithersburg MARC Commuter Rail Station - about 1.5 miles to the Hilton Hotel. walk, bike, or check with WMATA for bus schedules or
-- Shady Grove Metro Station - Red Line end of the line - is 4.5 miles to the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg -- admittedly a very long walk, but possibly mild bike ride, also check WMATA bus, and you could transfer to MARC train to Gaithersburg

If attendees indicate whether they would be willing to offer a ride or need a ride and enable emailing through the meetup site, some ride-sharing might be possible for a few.
