Association of Americans Resident Overseas (Paris) Message Board › aMERICAN Ex-pats Voter registration information!!! PASS IT ON!
All American citizens living abroad who will be 18 on Election Day have the right to vote in the US Presidential election.
The meetup barackobama.meetup.com/165/ (http://barackobama.me...) is doing a voters registration this saturday. Not just for Democrats, but for Republicans and Independents as well. It's in conjunction with Democrats abroad and voters abroad. So though it's a Democratic site it's important that everyone votes. So it doesn't matter their party affiliation. We are doing this drive in Paris this weekend but there are drives all over France and Europe for that matter.

Americans Abroad, give a whole new meaning to our status as Americans living overseas. From now until October 4th, we'll be out on the streets everyday registering voters and canvassing - looking for Americans and looking for people who know or work with Americans so as to spread the info about the www.VoteFromAbroad.org/5 website (http:www.VoteFromAbroad.org/5).
If you want to volunteer come join us this Saturday, August 23rd at 3PM sharp at the metro exit at the top of the Champs-Elysées (Etoile). We'll hand out fliers and canvass the crowd. We'll talk to tourists and locals alike about what we're doing to give Americans across the world the opportunity to vote this November 4th.
