There have been so many messages about this that I lost track! How late is the Highlander going to be open. If it's only till 11pm and you plan on moving the party elsewhere, can you post to the group?

There are two events I know that are going on until 6am:

One at Palais M for 10 euros and the one at Pershing Hall for 80.

The Highlander will close at 2am, we will have the choice between a BBC coverage or the Sky news one, no CNN or NBC or Foxnews at the Highlander, it's a Scottish pub remember. The O'Sullivan's next to the Locomotive closes at 6am and has a back room with all the above mentioned channels that they can privatize, so far not opened cos noone has asked for it, in the front room there will be screens but no sound (DJ working).
Democrats abroad are meeting at the Palais Maillot for the whole night and the Playoff Wagram which normally closes at 2 is waiting for an answer from the Prefecture to its request for a special extension to 6am. Be aware though that this provisional vote in Ohio means that it might be a week before we get the actual results. Frustrating right? I have a car and will be able to take 3 people to go bar hoping.

I salute your courage - you'll have to stay up very late to get some results!
In 2000 I stayed up really late and finally fell asleep in the knowledge that Gore had won - only to wake up later with the grin of Bush Jr. all over the TV.

Abstaining isn't really an option especially as the lines are so clear for those who haven't voted it's still not too late!!! Got ohttps://www.votefromabroad.org for more info. FYI Palais M is staying open for the election. So if they close at 2 you can head there.
