What do you find to be the biggest cultural differences between Americans and French? (non-pc answers encouraged)

2 big differences, in fact: 1) the lack of a "work ethic", which has recently been explained to me as "since workers are not valued, why should employees think work important?", 2) object centered, rather than customer-centered sales relations.

"Born in Chicago, I've been in Paris more than half my life and am now French, too. I'm working as "maître de conférences" at the University of Paris' teachers' college (IUFM), and am a volunteer in the French ADHD association (HyperSupers)"
