What do you find to be the biggest cultural differences between Americans and French? (non-pc answers encouraged)

In America, dogs aren't allowed in restaurants. In France, dogs are allowed, and they are often served before their owners (the water dish). However, the dogs are well-behaved and rarely speak on their cell phones while in the restaurant.

Introduction

I'm the only American at work. I look forward to meeting other expatriates. I have been in France for almost 10 years now.

What John M. is saying about this Meetup Group

It's a great way to meet fellow Americans.
