Both new and experienced meditators benefit from meditating with a group. Ananda offers many opportunities to meditate with others and experience the joy and peace that meditation inspires.
Saturday night meditation begins with a short period of chanting, followed by silent meditation until a chanting break at 8 pm. Silent meditation continues then until shortly before 9 pm, when the meditation closes with healing prayers. You are welcome to join us for all or part of this time. Please enter and exit the sanctuary quietly, preferably during chanting periods.
On the 4th Saturday of the month meditation begins with one hour of chanting (kirtan) followed by 45 minutes of meditation.
