Wildhorse Ranch Rescue (WHRR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to saving horses and mules from abuse, neglect, slaughter and premature death & provide a safe place for them to live for the remainder of their lives. We do not discriminate, we take in all types of horses, including ex-U.S. Cavalry horses and ex-U.S. Forest Service mules upon their retirement to avoid their slaughter. Ex-racehorse, Granpa's Charlee, just received life-saving care at Arizona Equine. We raised the funds to pay for her care. We saved Mustang foals after a roundup 4 1/2 years ago. Kitty City is comprised of our colony of spayed/neutered feral cats that now make WHRR their home. Some are friendly and come up for pets! We've saved countless dogs who have come our way and have placed them in forever homes, although we're not a dog rescue. But we can't turn away an animal in need! And we helped start the HavasuPup program to save the Grand Canyon hiking dogs. Wildhorse Ranch always gladly accepts donations of hay, horse feed, etc. Please e-mail if you have donations or bring your donations with you to the party! To learn more, visit:

This was great fun and the food was awesome! Definitely something I'd do again. I wish everyone had been able to make it out as you missed a great time. The horses are gorgeous and this place could really use the assistance in their care. Go to www.mudpony.com and donate if you can. Please!! Thanks!

The fundraiser/party was an annual event to help bring in funds for the rescue horses and mules at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue, a 501(c)(3) registered charity. Two musical acts donated their services, and the music was great. There were barn tours of the herd, vegetarian and vegan food, a Silent Auction, raffles throughout the night, and just a lot of fun. It was a great crowd and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. So many people were instrumental in putting together the event, from WHRR volunteers to friends of WHRR.
