If any of you would like to host an 'educational' booth at the
pet adoption fair......
it would be awesome.
Also, I forgot to mention, if anyone is free this Sunday and would like
to volunteer, it would be very much appreciated by all the rescue groups!!!

 Danielle's idea:

"Pet store protests and fundraising"

I just moved here a few months ago from Chicago and just
started to get involved with The Puppy Mill Project. They
protested pet stores and have had a great success rate in
getting some stores shut down. While it can be more of an
aggressive approach, I think even if the goal isn't to shut
down the store, it should be to educate the customers so they
now what they're getting.
Also, many shelters to fun walks/runs to raise money. I think
the Pasadena humane society does a walk at the end of Sept.
That would be something fun the group could do together.
