Best Vegan Pizza Contest!!!

Freshly made vegan pizza at the Animal Advocacy Museum in Pasadena was a big hit with the hungry crowd "who descended like a swarm of locusts" according to one participant.

The Best Vegan Pizza event was from noon till 3 pm. I didn't arrive until 2:30 pm; there wasn't much left. "Vegans eat like pigs" one activist was heard to say .....

I'm just now reading the comments on the Facebook page for the event: Renee Patton wrote: "Nice to see the turnout of vegan pizza lovers...if only all the contestants had the same consideration. I mean, who commits to feed 128 people and then drops out at the last minute? Looks like we're down to 4 contestants (1 who was ready at 12, 2 who are still serving halfway through the event, and 2 still reportedly being made in the kitchen). Ooh wait, did the 3rd pizza choice just arrive?" "Update: only 2 contestants showed up. Nice that the hosts scrambled to make more in the kitchen. A for effort for the hosts and people who showed, F for the contestants who bailed." Diana Lannes wrote: "Amen to that! Very disappointing, I had to come home and eat!"
