Hey awesome peeps!
I've just confirmed the availability of space, which means it's time again for another amazing vegan potluck event so, if you're ready to chow down on some fantastic vegan fare then read on and join us this upcoming Saturday, June 29th, at 5:30 pm, at St. Thomas's Anglican Church hall at 383 Huron St. in the Annex for a scrumptious vegan potluck feast!
If you haven't been before, getting to the church hall is easy, as it's located in the Annex just a short distance from both Spadina and St. George Subway Stations. In fact, here's a link to a google map to help you navigate your way there:
NOTE: The entrance to the hall has approximately five steps leading up so please, do let me know if you have mobility issues so that we can accommodate you.
For the dinner portion of the evening, please ensure that all food brought is vegan (no animal products whatsoever, including dairy, eggs, honey, etc...), that your dish has a minimum of 6-8 portions so that as many attendees as possible get a chance to sample your offering and, if you're bringing something with chocolate, please only products labelled fair trade to avoid child slavery: http://www.johnrobbins.info/blog/is-there-slavery-in-your-chocolate/ (http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.johnrobbins.info%2Fblog%2Fis-there-slavery-in-your-chocolate%2F&h=6AQEEGwUe&s=1).
To better accommodate those who may have specific food allergens (and because we get quite a few requests for recipes) we would also very much appreciate it if you are able to list the ingredients in your dish on a small slip of paper to display with it.
We do have our own plates, cutlery, and glasses available for use, but do feel free to bring your own if you'd like to ensure that we don't run out of what you need, when you need it!
I think that's everything but, if I've neglected to mention something, please let me know.
Thanks everyone and looking forward to seeing you all soon!
