Hi Sandy,

Below is Camilla's story and 3 photos of her.

Sorry for the extra junk in the email; I can't cut it out when I send from my blackberry.

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Erin,

Thank you so much for helping Camilla!!

This is her story:

Amanda died leaving 17 cats and 3 dogs. The niece of Amanda evicted the man from the house who was caring for Camilla and she was going to send Camilla to the pound, so I just put Camilla into my car and took her. She is being boarded at VCA at Melrose and Robertson.

Camilla is very sweet, but she was abused before Amanda got her, so she is very frightened. She must have been hit with a leash; she will not walk on the leash. But everyone who sees her and her big, sad eyes wants to help her. She likes it at the vet, but she is afraid of the other dogs, so she has been staying in the office on a big pillow. Everyone there is so nice to her. I have been going every day to visit her and she loves affection. She will walk with me around the office but she panics when I take her outside. She lived outside so I doubt she is house broken.

Camilla really needs an experienced dog foster so she can stay in a home and receive some training. When she was in Amanda's back yard area, she was very happy with her pit bull buddy and the homeless guy who was taking care of her. She slept with him. When I visited there, she wagged her tail and was excited to see me. Now her tail is always between her legs, except for an occasional wag. See her photos attached.

Erin, thanks so much! Let me know if anyone from Rescue train or elsewhere would like to meet Camilla.
