I'm not sure why some people are so hysterical about food. Or why they want to stop the growing of it. This is like so many of the other protests that we hear about lately, no one is looking at the cause but they just don't like the results, after the fact. In other words, If one doesn't like this type of food then we need to control the world populating before complaining about how scientists are trying to feed it.
I'm also wondering, IF anyone who doesn't want genetically engineered food do they not go to the doctor, use modern technology, I can see they do if this is being sent through the Internet, ha ha. Do they wash clothes in a machine, drive cars, take buses or trains, use cell or even regular phones? It's just that everything, EVERYTHING we do in todays world from eating to entertainment to transportation, and taking care of ourselves is based on science and progress so why should food be any different. Besides, food has been 'engineered' for hundreds of years, why 'protest' now? Just asking? ; )
PS. There are so many hazards in the market place and elsewhere, people should always be careful about everything they use.

Subject: [animalrights-177] Fwd: Why genetically engineered food is dangerous
Eighteen years after Monsanto and the biotech industry began force-feeding untested and unlabeled genetically engineered foods to humans and animals, a definitive study of the hazards of GMOs has been published. OCA urges everyone to read this.
