London Animal Rights Gathering- Meet & Greet

Come to this event to find out how you can get involved with campaigning for animals.

3pm: Doors open. Vegan food and refreshments will be available from 3pm and throughout the afternoon and evening.

4pm – 4.30pm: An update on current campaigns against the fur industry with Q and A.

5pm – 5.30pm: An introduction to anti-vivisection campaigning in London and Nationally with Q and A.

6pm – 6.30pm: Talk on getting involved with promoting veganism in London with Q and A.

7pm Showing of the film "project Nim". After the film there will be a SKYPE discussion with Bob Ingersoll, he is the primatologist that cared and taught Nim how to use sign language.
This films tells the story of a chimpanzee taken from its mother at birth and raised like a human child by a family in a brownstone on the upper West Side in the 1970s. See the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxQap9AAPOs

10pm – Event ends.

Between the talks there will be an opportunity for socialising, vegan food and refreshments. You may also like to bring along vegan food to share at this event and please invite your friends to this event.
This will be an informal and social event. You are welcome to attend all or just some of the day. Come along and be part of the change for animals!
