Details

Ann Arbor PHP is back! We’ve put together a new gang to reboot this group. Join us for a kickoff, Tuesday, December 1, downtown at Nutshell.

Agenda

We’re planning on a pretty informal gathering to see the size of group that’s interested. We’ll provide the pizza and beer. 🍕🍻

We've got a group of 5 presenters to give ⚡️lightning talks on a few different topics, so far:

• Code Climate for better code quality — Andy Blyler (@ Barracuda)

• What’s new in PHP7? — Chris Sprague (@ Nutshell)

• Background processing with async PHP — Ian Berry (@ Notion.ai)

• Why > How — Mark Pitman

• What should Ann Arbor PHP look like? — Andy Fowler

Stickers!

We're ordering a batch of stickers to get the word out. Check out the Meetup message board to help decide their look!

Share a lightning talk!

There’s still time to participate — if you'd like to share something interesting that you’re working on, let me know, and we’ll get you involved.

I’d also love to hear your ideas on what you’d like out of this group. You can reach me at andy@andyfowler.com.

Thanks, Jason Jarvis, for your work as caretaker of this group thus far. I’m looking forward to meeting many of you next month. Please invite friends and colleagues that may be interested.

See you soon!
