LARP at U-Con

There is a LARP at U-Con Saturday evening that still has some openings. My wife and I are going to participate, so I have received a character and the rules. It definitely has a well designed and interesting storyline that avoids some of the pitfalls of a LARP. Time is short but one can still join. Below is the latest announcement that the organizer put out.

Your Organizer, Michael Von Korff, sent the following message to some members of Ann Arbor LARP:

Hey, everyone! One last shout-out for Dance and the Dawn, this Saturday at 7pm. Here's some more specific info about the game:

--The LARP will be at U-Con, which is at the Michigan Union on the UM central campus in Ann Arbor, at 7pm.
--There'll be snacks and drinks provided.
--You don't need to bring anything along to play the game, though having a costume would be awesome. The setting is a ball on the fairy-tale Isle of Ice, so formal wear (the more anachronistic the better) is a good idea.
--I'm still way short on players (of both genders), so please sign up if you're interested, and tell all your friends!
--You should definitely RSVP if you want to play. That way, I can assign you a character, and email it to you in advance, which might be nice for you-- and would definitely be good for me!
--You need to register for U-Con to play. This costs $, but is totally worth it (there's all sorts of cool events at the convention all weekend, and anyway, this LARP is totally worth the cost of admission by itself ). You check out U-Con at
