THIS GROUP HAS DECENTRALIZED. We all have equal rights and responsibilities and resources. Any member can schedule a group meeting. As adults we are all responsible for our own safety, plans, and materializing our desires such as reaching out to others and making connections. If this is impossible for a group member to do, then I highly encourage they seek help from a professional who can help them navigate and make their own tools. This group in no form or way replaces or comes close to replacing professional help.
The goal of this group is to build a support team of people who have experienced what it's like to live with anxiety and to share our solutions and challenges. This is a peer lead support group. It is your personal choice as to where you want to go with the direction of your life/mental health/etc.
This group DOES NOT replace professional therapy, medication, exercise, making healthy choices or the existing relationships in your life. Every person is responsible for their own health and happiness. If you do not have resources, this may be a good place to start, but the real work is done in your own life and how much effort you put into your health, research and practical/professional methods of dealing with day to day life.
Please check out the "Message Board" for updated information and personal stories.

"Why should we think upon things that are lovely? Because thinking determines life. It is a common habit to blame life upon the environment. Environment modifies life but does not govern life. The soul is stronger than its surroundings" --William James
