What is a Smart City?
What are some examples of services a Smart City deploys? What are the goals a City would have that can classify it as a Smart City? How does the infrastructure change, how to buildings interact with the people inside them to make their lives better?
We will talk broadly about what communities can expect when they hear the term “Smart City” and what it might mean to their daily lives. We will have speakers who can talk directly to different types of services. What are “smart buildings” doing right now that help their communities? How are the most vulnerable within our communities finding help with IoT and smart technologies? And what are our City leaders doing to promote and invest in these emerging technologies?
Deepinder Singh - CEO - 75F
I started 75F in 2012 after having designed some of the world’s fastest core networks for Tier 1 service providers like AT&T, NTT and Verizon. With almost 25 years of experience in electronics and computing, I've brought a wealth of embedded products to the market. My key goal in every endeavor is to simplify operational complexity and make products intuitive.
That’s why we created 75F, an intelligent building solution that utilizes the Internet of Things and the latest in Cloud Computing to create systems that predict, monitor and manage the needs of buildings.
Our goal is to make commercial building controls as ubiquitous and easy to install as setting up an iPhone.
