“Chasing Ice” tells the story of an environmental photographer, James Balog, who set out to capture how glaciers were changing over several years, using time-lapse photography. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice as they disappear at an alarming rate.

Passive House Presidio Beach Day Hike

This month, PHCA takes a break from all things serious with a family-friendly hike and picnic. The group will start at 10:30am with a 2.5 mile hike from Baker Beach to Inspiration Point and back again. Then we'll relax on the beach for a picnic lunch around 12:00 or 12:30. You can extend the hike with a bluff walk, take a shortcut back to the beach or just meet us afterwards around noon to picnic.
