Meeting in cold weather

A question comes from Chris, 'will we painting outside?' The answer is yes, as first of all, I don't know anywhere wew can paint as a group indoors. This is the challenge of Plein air, how to tolerate the weather. I would suggest to the group to dress warm, bring a thermos of hot tea or coffee, and get a pair of gloves.

I think of the New England painter who painted all those lovely snow scenes. He stood outside in the cold. There are plenty of examples.

So, that is the challenge. And you feel a reward once you complete a painting out in the freezing cold, let me tell you.

Hope to see everyone at the next event.
