What happens when a poem becomes a painting—or a feeling becomes a phrase?
For this event, we’re diving into the space where language meets color, emotion meets expression, and words become more than just words.
In this session, we’ll treat language as an art material.
You’ll start by writing—freely, expressively, and without judgment—using a simple prompt to guide you into imagery, emotion, and metaphor. Your writing can be poetic, descriptive, or fragmentary.

Then, we’ll explore how to bring those words to life visually:
🎨 With abstract marks, textures, colors, or layouts that mirror your message
🖋 Using ink, watercolor, pastel—or even collage—to emphasize mood and meaning
📜 Playing with placement, rhythm, and white space to create a full sensory piece
No poetry experience needed. No art rules to follow. Just you, your thoughts, and your creativity.

What to bring:

• Pens, markers, fine liners
• Watercolor or pastel (optional, not required)
• Paper or a notebook you enjoy working in
