  a pretty solid excuse to go wander around in the woods together. 😂\n\n
 Join us for an easygoing fall foliage hike through Bent Creek at Hard Time
 s Trail — just a few minutes from Asheville.\n\n🍁 THE PLAN\n\n📍 Ha
 rd Times Trailhead\n📅 November 5th\n⏰ Meet at 5:00 PM\n🥾 Hike star
 ts at 5:15 PM\n\nWe’ll take the Hard Times Trail at a relaxed group pace
 \, soaking up the changing leaves\, chatting\, taking approximately 700 un
 necessary photos of trees 😂\, and enjoying that very specific ✨fall i
 n the mountains✨ feeling.\n\nThe full Hard Times Loop is about 6 miles\,
  but we will NOT be doing the entire loop for this event. We’re keeping 
 this one shorter and turning around based on our group pace and available 
 daylight so we can enjoy the trail without racing back to the cars in the 
 dark.\n\n🌲 WHAT TO EXPECT\n\nThink:\n🍂 colorful hardwood forest\n
 🍁 crunchy leaves\n🌿 Bent Creek woods\n⛰️ gentle rolling terrain\
 n🦌 possible wildlife sightings\n📸 plenty of photo opportunities\n
 😂 probably at least one person saying “wait\, this is SO pretty” ev
 ery 10 minutes\n\nHard Times is generally considered an easier/moderate tr
 ail with a gradual feel rather than a giant mountain climb\, making it a g
 ood option for a social after-work hike. The area also connects into a muc
 h larger trail network\, so there are plenty of ways to explore depending 
 on the group and conditions. (Explore Asheville)\n\n🥾 WHAT TO BRING\n\n
 Fall in the mountains can be a little unpredictable\, so dress for “warm
  at the trailhead\, colder than expected once the sun disappears.”\n\n
 ✔️ Comfortable hiking shoes with good traction\n✔️ Water\n✔️ L
 ight jacket or fleece\n✔️ Extra layer — especially if you’re someo
 ne who gets cold easily\n✔️ Headlamp or small flashlight JUST IN CASE\
 n✔️ Bug spray if you’re still getting eaten alive 😂\n✔️ Small
  snack if you need one\n✔️ Phone + portable charger\n✔️ Rain jacke
 t if the forecast is questionable\n\n🍂 IMPORTANT: Leaves + rain = slipp
 ery roots and rocks. If the trail is wet\, expect some mud and watch your

 n⏰ Meet at 5:30 PM\n📍 Craggy Gardens / Craggy Pinnacle Overlook\n\nWe
 ’ll take the short\, easy hike up to the overlook together\, set up our 
 little outdoor art studio\, and spend the evening painting while we watch 
 the fall colors and sunset.\n\n🎨 NO ART EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.\n\nWe’ll
  have:\n🖌️ Paint supplies\n🎨 Everything you need to create your ma
 sterpiece\n🧑‍🎨 A fun instructor there to guide you and give you id
