  • Our fearless leader, Ronn, would have posted this fun event, but he'll be having even more fun on vacation! So join us for the comedy "Microbe and Gasoline" (2015) by Michel Gondry, (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Be Kind Rewind), which portrays the friendship between two male adolescents looking for adventure and freedom.

Online registration is required for this screening. Here's the link. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/screening-microbe-and-gasoline-tickets-29281082506?aff=es2

Microbe (Daniel), a shy, aspiring artist, has trouble making friends at school until he meets Gasoline (Theo), a likeminded outcast. Neither of them really fit in with their own families and they dream about hitting the road. Together, they hatch a plan to build a car and spend their summer on an epic trip across France.

“If you’re my friend, you’re an independent spirit”, Theo tells Daniel, as the pair of outsiders travel the country. Mostly inspired by Michel Gondry‘s childhood, this film celebrating the power of imagination is also the story of an emancipation.

Film starts at 7 pm but let's meet at 6:45 at the doors inside (if anyone gets there early, try to stake out some seats and post a comment; thanks). Embassy of France
