Another group posted this but not many people have signed up - perhaps because of the early time - so I will post as well. It's a nice opportunity to see a quality foreign film that won't play anywhere else. You must RSVP (http://bit.ly/SRSK5n) to their site to attend. But please do so only if you are sure you can attend. The film starts at 6.

Just in time for the holidays, the Korean Cultural Center invites you to a free, public screening event on Dec. 19 featuring a recent hit Korean film as a final 'annyeong' to 2012 (a casual way to say hello and goodbye in Korean). Join them for an evening of film, friends, and food on the campus of George Washington University to send off the year in style! Plus, DVD drawings, Q&A with experts, and reception after the films!

Free RSVP required via the KCC website HERE! (http://bit.ly/SRSK5n)

All About My Wife
내 아내의 모든 것
romantic comedy

Program: film, Q&A discussion with Tom Vick (Curator of Film, Freer|Sackler Galleries, Smithsonian Institution), Korean food reception

Film is presented in Korean with English subtitles.

All About My Wife is all about the trials of Doo-hyun (Lee Sun-Kyun), whose seemingly perfect wife Jung-in (Lim Soo-Jung) is actually unbearable. Desperate to escape his marriage but too timid to stand up to her, Doo-hyun employs local legendary Cassanova Sung-ki (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) to woo his wife away—but can he live with his decision? View the trailer here (http://asianwiki.com/All_About_My_Wife).

Director Min Kyu-Dong's film won for Best Actress (Lim Soo-Jung) and Best Supporting Actor (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) at the 2012 Blue Dragon Film Awards. It was featured in 2012 at the New York Asian Film Festival, Korean Film Festival in Australia, Hawaii International Film Festival, and San Diego Asian Film Festival.
