The group has two different types of meetups. Both are in person only in Atlanta Georgia.
The first type are hands on "Lab Session" meetups. For these you'll have to bring a laptop, an account on one of the big AI companies, and do a bit of preparation to make sure you can participate. These will be instructor led, but with frequent exercises to prevent this becoming a lecture.
The second type is a "Reading Group" meetup. These will focus on discussion of a recent paper of general interest related to AI. It might be a white paper, a government document, documentation from an AI company, etc. This is not going to be focused on on the machine-learning type of papers that underlie Ai systems.
These groups are open to anyone and if there is a cost for a meetup, it will be $5-$10 per person to cover the room/space.
